CBD-Rich Hemp Salve helps my elbow!

I have Ehlers-Danlos connective tissue disorder (see My Story).

Never should've done this with Ehlers-Danlos connective tissue disorder!Due to the many minor joint dislocations over my lifetime, there is some permanent and semi-permanent damage to tendons, ligaments and muscles in my right arm, shoulder and neck. I’ve managed it well and have only fairly minor issues now. 30+ years ago I pretty much lost the use of my right arm after too much abuse, including building a stone house! Tons of physical therapy and exercise restored most of the function and strength.

My right elbow has constant moderate pain and inflammation. I pretty much ignore its ups and downs, as I can still brush my teeth and get a fork to my mouth, things I couldn’t do at its worst. And, I don’t wear a brace on my arm or hand anymore, so I consider the issue fairly minor. However, it’s always there. The Rife machine helps when the muscles are spasmed and the pain is bad, but it seems there’s deep damage that only deep-tissue massage therapy can help, and that is a long process I’ve only recently discovered.

I can’t always bring my water ionizer traveling and I will go thirsty rather than drink “unknown” bottled water, chlorinated tap water or known acidic bottled water. I still make high alkaline ionized water on the GO and you can too!

I’ve fought a lifetime of chronic joint problems (see My Story) and now I feel better than ever, since drinking alkaline ionized water. I searched for a way to have ionized water when I’m out – when I can’t bring the actual water ionizer with me and can’t lug too many bottles.

Of course going out for the day I always bring a large bottle – 2 liters or more, depending on how long my day will be. PLAN AHEAD. Although my Bottled Water pH Chart (download for free) is helpful, obviously not every brand of water can be listed – there are scores of locally bottled waters across the country. Plus, I don’t want to pay for lousy water mixed with plastic chemicals!

So, if I can’t bring my ionizer,and I can’t lug bottles of ionized water I use these three essentials: pH Water Test Kit + Biodegradable Filter Bottle + Portable Water Ionizer Sticks

I test the pH of the tap water to be sure it’s at least neutral (7 pH), filter it through the filter bottle, and then ionize it with the ionizing sticks. I am freed from buying bottled water, yet I am drinking better water than you can buy! And, I am not drinking the plastic bottle leaching into my water!

I don’t participate in the insanely expensive & offensive trafficking of water – the petroleum cost of making the bottles and the transportation costs of moving heavy bottles. Think gas is expensive? Whether I’m traveling by plane, enjoying a Caribbean cruise, soaking up the sun at a Dominican Republic resort, touring through Costa Rica or visiting Europe, my protocol is the same:

Biodegradable Filter Bottle

FIRST: I test the tap water pH, which should be at least 7 or 8 pH. IF, for some reason, I must use bottled water I certainly test that and if it is acidic I wait until I can locate better alkaline water.

SECOND: I fill the filter bottle and gently squeeze it, squirting the water out through the drinking cap into my 1 liter water bottle. This little filter removes the chlorine and dozens of other pollutants!

THIRD: I drop in 2 portable hydrogen water ionizer sticks (1 per 500ml/16oz., 2 per liter/quart), shake my bottle 10 times, wait at least 30 minutes, and drink!

The longer the ionizer sticks remain in the bottle, the more ionization. I make a liter before going to bed and it’s good and ionized in the morning – often a 10 pH! You’ll know if the water is too ionized, as the water will taste “briny” so just dilute it a bit with filtered water. This rarely happens. Remember that the amount of ionization is always dependent on the mineral content of the source water.

A word about 16 oz versus 1 liter bottles:

It is much easier to keep track of how much water you drink when drinking from a one liter or quart bottle, than lots of smaller bottles or glasses. I prepare my water in a 1 liter/quart bottle, and often drink it from a glass, but it is easy to remember if I’m on quart 3 or 4 by the end of the day, rather than small bottle number 7 or 8. Folks thank me for this bit of advice, as they tend to drink more water with the larger bottle system.
