Natural Products Show – Expo West was inspiring!

Thursday, March 19th, 2009
We recently returned from Expo West in Anaheim, CA with 1,900 exhibitors and over 53,000 attendees! I used to exhibit water at this show, and let me tell you, it’s very exciting! All the latest and cutting edge products are there and often the manufacturer or originator is on hand to speak with. Aside from having a great time reconnecting with old friends, meeting newer friends face-to-face for the first time, we also made some new friends!

An old friend of mine, and maybe yours if I introduced you in the past, is Smooth Move Tea! This laxative tea is in my traveling bag of tricks just in case I get a bit slowed down, which sometimes happens when traveling – rarely, but it does happen. So I just make a cup of this tea in the evening, and next morning, voila!
I really do keep a few Smooth Move tea bags in my toiletries bag for me and anyone else I might be traveling with. Here’s a photo of me with the Smooth Move movin’ outhouse!! Justin wants to make a few of these vehicles for use around the farm, like porta-potties!

Patricia Bragg & Tina
We also met Patricia Bragg from Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar and Aminos. She was so gracious and gave us several signed books. Since Justin and I met at Expo West, somehow this came out with several more quick details. Patricia loved our “love story” and wants to perhaps feature us in a new book she’s writing!! She’d also like to visit us on the farm! I’ll keep you posted!!
Another interesting lady we met was 79 year old Japanese Linda who has an organic farm growing Ashitaba, an unusual and potent Japanese herb. Her’s seems to be extremely high quality, and this herb is used throughout Japan. It is a very powerful antioxidant, twice that of green tea. It provides energy without caffeine and is sold in juice bars at major Japanese subway stations 24/7. It also relieves pain, aids in weightloss, increases mental clarity, and is cited in many testimonials for “helping” cancer (we have to be careful about what we say because of the FDA). I just got some in stock if you are interested. I have capsules, powder and a tincture that can be applied to skin eruptions. Watch for more information soon!

Tina & Bill
I reconnected with my old friends, Bill from Yi-Shan ionizer manufacturing company, and my Watershed pals too, Bob McCauley, Patti & Ryan. We will soon be offering a radical new ionizer, that departs from standard electrode plates and uses an ionizing disk in much less space! Stay tuned for this development!
Margaritas
And of course, Justin and I marked our “sacred ground” – our meeting place in the 2900 aisle of Expo West with appropriate kisses and gratitude to the powers that be who brought us together! We celebrated his birthday in Mexican style with huge Mango Margaritas!
Justin won a plush panda!
Winning the Panda!
Ohbeeb from NYC
We saw our friend Ohbeeb from NYC, who knew us both independantly before we were together! She sells the greatest raw chocolate-spirulina bars, Wild Bar!

Where to Install an Ionizer

under counter water ionizer fission

Most times a counter-top is installed on the counter next to the sink, but here are a few other suggestions that may be more convenient and more efficient use of kitchen space.

Of course, if you’re lucky enough to have a wide window sill in the sink’s vicinity, this makes a great location – off the counter and still within easy reach. Most have a small footprint and will sit securely on a 4″-5″ windowsill. I used this option when I lived in Florida.

You might have a pass-through near your sink where you can spare some space. If the ionizer fits crosswise in the opening, the back would face the width of the wall. If not, and the ionizer front faces into the kitchen you might like to put a photo of you and your sweetheart, or even your kids to obscure the back view. Or perhaps a photo of your parents who made you so smart that you got a water ionizer! My mother uses this option.

Many water ionizers come with a wall-mount bracket. These work GREAT and often this installation uses unused space. As an alternative, or if your ionizer didn’t include the wall mount option, a sturdy shelf, securely mounted works too. Be sure to mount either option up high enough NOT to interfere with counter use. I have a wall-mounted ionizer in my kitchen.

Another overlooked option is installing the ionizer in the bathroom (on the counter or wall mounted) or laundry room. When my son lived with roommates, he installed his in his own bathroom, and my brother installed his in the laundry room. It all works!

My daughter and son-in-law set the ionizer on the counter, BEHIND the drain board – they simply moved the drain board a bit closer to the counter edge. This worked well in a tiny apartment kitchen, where they didn’t even have room for the wall option. They recently bought a house in Philadelphia, and have done a “custom” installation, which brings me to the final option:

You may not be aware that without investing in an under counter water ionizer, you can install the ionizer under the sink. This is what my kids did. This is a bit more complicated than above the sink, but it can work. I carry an Under the Counter Conversion Kit (email or call me) that has an above counter double spout – one for alkaline, with the other just underneath it for acid water. There needs to be an extra hole in your countertop or you’ll need to have one professionally drilled. The ionizer gets mounted on the interior side wall of the cabinet below the sink, or on the door if it’s sturdy enough and the hinges are well crafted. Of course you can always have the water ionizer simply sit on the floor of the cabinet.

A plumber is needed to hook the conversion kit up to your cold water line. (HOT WATER should NEVER be run through an ionizer.) There are several hoses to connect, and depending which ionizer you have, you may need some connectors and/or fittings to make it all work properly. A handy person who knows a bit about plumbing may be able to do this without a plumber.

When it’s all hooked up, you choose your alkaline or acid settings from the unit down below, but the waster comes out on top. Choosing the settings from inside the cabinet is the one drawback of a counter top water ionizer installed to be an under counter water ionizer.

Starting at $1,999, you can have a true under counter water ionizer model – the Poseidon Under Counter Water Ionizer, and the second photo is the Delphi Under Counter Ionizer ($2,645). Email me if you’re want more information, as the Poseidon and a third one is not up on the site yet. You can then choose your ionizer settings from the stem of the faucet on top of the sink. I carry three different models and the choice really comes down to aesthetics versus cost.

Anyway you mount it, is the water of choice – and drink lots of it!!!

What the Bleep Do We Know

Sunday, March 1st, 2009
This movie addresses quantum physics and the part of our universe that we cannot touch, cannot see and cannot hear, but is there. It has been shown that by a person simply observing, the stream of electrons shot through the air can be influenced. So, if this is possible, what else is possible?
hexagonal water crystals
Dr. Masaru Emoto has demonstrated that the structure of water can be influenced for the better by a person’s kindness and love! He developed a system to freeze water and then photograph the frozen water crystals. He found that pure, healthy water forms better water crystals than polluted water.
Ultimately, the result of his work shows us that healthier water has a hexagonal structure. This is exactly what the molecular scientists have concluded as well, that the hexagonally structured water is more protective of your health than pentagonal water (Penta Water) or irregular shaped water molecules.
Among the many beneficial attributes of high , the produces micro-clustered water molecules. Instead of the irregular amount of molecules in a cluster, the ionizer causes many clusters of 6 water molecules, hence, “hexagonal water”. The bond angle of hexagonal water is much more powerful than larger or smaller clumps of water molecules. This strong bond, among other benefits, plays a role in protecting your DNA from free radical damage, and preventing pollutants from entering your cells.

Rocky’s Brush with Death, Ionized Water and the Rife Machine

Rocky X3
JUNE, 2008:
Rocky BabyOh what a cute German shepherd puppy he was! So full of spunk, so affectionate, so smart. He was growing by leaps and bounds, and within two minutes, I couldn’t even hold him anymore! Then suddenly, without warning, he just stopped eating. At first we didn’t think too much of it, but then he didn’t eat the next morning either. And, he wasn’t drinking any water. Not even the . He was lethargic, but yet seemed alert. He was hiding under the porch.

Rocky Trying to HideJustin and I didn’t have much experience with sick dogs so I anxiously took him to the vet, almost an hour away from our rural farm. She thought it might be worms, and gave me some worm medication. I gave Rocky 2 of the 3 de-worm dosages, and then he disappeared. Here on our farm there are no fences, and Rocky’s a mostly outdoors dog. We figured he ran away to die and we were heartbroken to think of losing Rocky, who was only 9 months old at this point. We went out looking for him in the four-wheeler, calling him, telling him I had “yummies” for him, to no avail.

The next morning, like a miracle, he appeared outside our door, happy to see us, but obviously still very sick. We quickly leashed him (which he hates) and kept him close to us at all times, which meant having to “walk” him to “do his business”. That’s when I saw bloody, stinky, very, very watery diarrhea. I researched everything I could on the internet for hours.

Back at the vet he was tested for everything, x-rayed and they gave him one liter of intravenous fluid, antibiotic, meds for gas (his intestines were distended – this is all that showed up on the x-ray). The vet thought it might be something viral as the ONLY thing of any big significance in all the tests was a low white blood cell count. The vet gave me the number for an all night clinic an hour and a half from our house, where they could hook him up to IVs and monitor him, albeit in a cage, and I wouldn’t be able to stay there! I certainly didn’t want this option! But she was openly puzzled and sympathetic.

Rocky seemed a bit better the next morning, drinking small amounts of our special ionized water on his own. We thought he had turned the corner. Then he vomited again and we were back where we started from.

Rocky on Needak Rebounder Madly doing research, his symptoms seemed indicative of Parvo, but his tests were negative! Parvo most times is a death sentence, so we were quite scared. I continued with as much ionized water and as he would allow, mixed with a great product called “Ease the Quease” which is an herbal anti-nausea formulation of ginger root, anise seed, spearmint, ginger & peppermint oil. I used a small pointy squeeze bottle to give him this mixture, milliliter by milliliter as marked on the bottle, holding his mouth closed till he’d swallow. I sat with his head in my lap for hours, singing a chanting sort of song, in a slow easy voice, and it seemed to soothe him. Online I had been talking with a holistic vet, who happened to be passing by our town. She stopped in and gave Rocky another IV of liquids and taught Justin how to inject him for the next time.

In desperation I tried singing and clog-tap dancing for him, and you could tell he was amused, but I couldn’t coax him off the rebounder (the mini-trampoline) that’s been “his spot” since he was a tiny baby.

Rocky with rife machine treatment He was losing weight dramatically. He went from about 90 to 68. That’s when we realized we could use the Rife Machine on him! The Rife Machine was invented in the 1930s by Dr. Royal Raymond Rife. Using the fact that diseased cells have a different frequency than healthy cells, he correlated the machine with many disease frequencies, and much the same way an opera singer can shatter a glass, this machine can shatter the diseased cell walls. It can also restore healthy frequency pathways.

Rocky close to deathI shaved Rocky’s forearms and held the stainless steel cylinders against his skin, while the vibrations of many different frequencies coursed through his system. He must’ve known this was helping him, because he lay with me, while I sang and held the cylinders on him, for hours on end.

The next morning, he drank water on his own! He walked around a bit! He had turned a corner for sure! I boiled chicken and brown rice in ionized water, strained the liquid and although he didn’t want to eat, I squirted it through the little bottle, and he kept it down!! His recovery continued from that point forward, and both the vet and the holistic vet agreed I saved his life with my singing, water, salt and the Rife treatments. The entire episode was about a week and a half of playing Florence Nightingale to a puppy! He went from a low of 68 lbs at the vet’s office back up to 90 lbs in a matter of a few weeks. Now he’s well over 100, and our breeder says he’s the biggest shepherd he’s ever bred! That’s our baby!

Rocky All BetterNow, I’m happy to say Rocky (I call him “my little poodle”) is fully recovered and a thriving 17 month old puppy, good as gold, and smart as can be! Here’s a photo of my TWO honey’s, Rocky and Justin. (Sept. 2009)

My Rife Machine Theory of Wellness

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

We know the Rife Machine technology bombards diseased or damaged cells and pathogens causing them to rupture and be excreted. The Rife101 energy machine also improves communication along the nerve pathways, clearing possible blockages, tuning the body’s frequency. However, this is, in my opinion, damage control and repair, which is fine to improve wellness in a short time. If we understand the benefits of an alkaline, oxygenated internal environment, one that will not support disease and pathogens, then it follows that we also understand that we must strengthen our inner terrain with a less acidic, alkaline diet and lifestyle, for the long-term . Bathing your cells with and following a mostly alkaline diet will do much to avoid illness in the long term, coupled with exercise, positive attitude, sunshine and happiness.

I feel the Rife machine is absolutely wonderful, and quite a miracle for many, for a “quick fix” and that can easily be sustained by repeated use, but problems may return, and maybe other problems will surface as well if your internal environment remains acidic. I highly recommend the Rife Machine ALONG WITH an alkaline regimen.

My Honey, Justin Wizard, used to sell the Rife Machine and attributed it to his surviving colon cancer many, many years ago. There are countless testimonies in our files of people helped by this unit and I am working (Dec 2011) to compile a database of testimonials so you can speak with real people about it and how it worked for them. I am now the distributor for the Rife101 Frequency Machine and I’m at your service by phone or email.
If you haven’t yet read how the Rife101 machine helped our dog, Rocky, click this line! It’s easy to use the Rife Machine on pets by using one of the three methods of attachment. Learn more on the Rife Machine page.

Our Solar Organic Farm in Beautiful West Virginia

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

At a very, very low point in my history of relationships, I swore now to remain single and celibate for a long, long time, no longer trusting my judgment. But we know that’s not always the way fate would have it, and the most marvelous man in the world, a dream come true, found me. I now live with Justin in beautiful West Virginia. Although it’s quite a bit colder than my former home in Florida

I had moved to Florida, from New York, to be in the warm sunshine year-round, and I didn’t think ANYTHING or ANYONE could ever get me north again. This is a testament to just how wonderful Justin is, and the amazing love we’ve found. If you’d like to see what Justin’s into and read a bit about him, here’s his site: www.aceguru.com.

We work on being self-sufficient and sustainable, making a very small footprint on the 166 acres we live on. Although we do use some non-solar electricity, we have the ability to run just about everything on solar when the electric goes out. We also have a very, very low water usage, even though we both drink lots of ionized water! We have the ability to use well-water OR rain water we collect in huge barrels at any of our faucets, and we have point-of-use tankless hot water heaters in each location. We also use composting toilets for our poop, and we disperse our pee outside for the good nitrogen, and, around the garden – it keeps the deer away! (Write if you want to know more about any of this.)

winter tomatoes on the farmWe grow lots of vegetables, from tomatoes to potatoes, and even free-range organic chickens (although I’m a vegetarian, Justin and Rocky aren’t). We have delicious heirloom tomatoes all winter long in the greenhouse, along with figs and even goji berries, accompanied by hibiscus, passion vines and geraniums in bloom! We’ve even started growing dwarf banana trees in the greenhouse. In the summer we have gooseberries, blueberries, aronia berries, raspberries, blackberries, elderberries and strawberries grown in upright cylinders to get more berries per square foot. We have an almond tree, peach, pear and apple trees, and flowers galore! Over 150 different kinds of iris’ bloom amongst daffodils, tulips, lilies, hollyhocks, dahlias, foxgloves, clematis, and literally, countless others. Here’s a photo of us with the first crop of winter tomatoes from our greenhouse!

Knowing how much I always wanted a meadow of wildflowers (that’s Rocky in the meadow below), Justin created one for me. That’s what we have the most of on our farm – love. We both had to wait until our mid-fifties to find the love of our life, and, I have to say now, it was worth going through all I’ve been through, since Justin was my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, after all the stormy weather. The only thing we ever argue about is who got the better end of the deal!rocky in the wildflowers

Ionized Water & Peeing – a Private Word

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

Women who have had a sonogram during pregnancy will really appreciate this. In 1980, pregnant with my first child, the protocol before the sonogram was to drink a quart of water to get better pictures. OK. I am a tiny person (5 feet, 95 lbs.) so maybe it was that, but after I finally drank all that water, I thought for sure I was either going to burst or lose my urine any moment. I will never forget the urgency I felt in contrast to the excitement of seeing the baby on the screen. I just couldn’t wait for it to be over so I could go pee.

This is what I thought about when first attempting to drink a few quarts of water a day. In addition, before switching to alkaline water, when I drank a glass of water, I went to pee. There always was an “urgency” so I couldn’t imagine drinking my weight in ounces. What the reality was turned out very different.

After drinking a quantity of high , I found I could hold my urine – and a lot of it – with much, much less discomfort. At 54, still 5 feet, 95 lbs., I can drink a quart of water, and successfully hold it until I reach a bathroom! The feeling of urgency is just not the same.

My Mom and II thought maybe I was imagining all this, and “willing” it to be this way, but then after my mother was drinking the for a month or so, she reported to me, “Tina, it doesn’t burn when I urinate anymore!” Sorry to be so graphic, but lots of folks wonder about all this and ask at the trade shows and on the phone. Of course it’s not supposed to burn when you urinate, and it got me thinking – the urine, when acidic, probably irritates the bladder somewhat and causes that desperate feeling of urgency. Mom’s urine was now more alkaline and she no longer had the same urgency either. Plus, of course, drinking more water, logically, dilutes the “stuff” in the urine. (That’s Mom at her 80th with me, Tina Rappaport in the photo!)

Either way, drinking more water, and especially if its alkaline ionized water, will actually allow you to hold more water! (But, please, don’t hold your water for me – pee as often as you want!)
